Data Sanitization & Witnessed Data Sanitization

We offer a shredding and hard drive wiping service at our facility which can shred up to 60 hard drives per hour, or up to 3/gb/min for data wiping. We have made a substantial investment in our equipment and our shredding and wiping service is 100% guaranteed. Our shredder is capable of total destruction of hard drives and their data containing platters and our hardware based wiping equipment is 100% effective and uses a 7 pass NSA approved data wiping system that brings the hard drive back to a blank slate as would be delivered from the manufacturer. We do not used cheap software based wiping programs found all over the internet as we do not feel these can be relied upon compared to a hardware based system. Our systems are mobile and can be brought to any facility or trade show upon request. Additional fees may apply for mobile service. When you come to our facility you are welcome to stay and witness the entire process for assurance purposes.

What is the difference between shredding and data wiping?

At the end of the process, the results are the same. Complete and total destruction of your sensitive data. The key difference between our two options is that with shredding, your hard drive is physically destroyed. We recycle the resulting shredded materials. If you choose to wipe your data, the hard drive remains whole and can then be resold back into the marketplace as a fresh used hard drive in the aftermarket. The choice is always yours. We will ask about your preferences and will always strictly follow your insturctions as your data security is our first priority.

Third Party Audit Trail • Serial Number Capture

Serial numbers can be captured & recorded by our proprietary software and bar code scanner as required by your needs to provide a complete third party audit trail. Our recycling program includes asset tag removal & full compliance with all applicable local, state & federal regulations. Suburban Miners has a No Landfill Policy.

Certificate of Recycling & Data Sanitization

We will issue you a Certificate of Recycling and/or a Certificate of Destruction so that you have all the paperwork necessary to prove compliance and complete audits.
